Women’s Aid Annual Impact Report 2023

The Women's Aid Annual Impact Report 2023 will provide insights into the levels and forms of abuse experienced by women and children in homes and relationships across Ireland. The report reflects on the work by Women’s Aid in 2023 to prevent and address the impact of domestic violence and abuse and create an equal Ireland with zero tolerance of violence against women. The report also provides an insight into the Too Into You project over 2023 including activities and campaigns for young people.

Speakers include:

Helen McEntee, T.D., Minister for Justice (via video address).
Dr Stephanie O’Keeffe, CEO, CUAN – The Domestic, Sexual and Gender-Based Violence Agency.
Sarah Benson, CEO, Women’s Aid.
Eve McDowell, co-founder Stalking Ireland and advocacy specialist.

Additional speakers to be confirmed

The event will be chaired by Ailbhe Smyth, Chair of Women’s Aid’s Board of Directors and long-time campaigner on feminist, LGBT and other social issues.

A light lunch will be provided.
 
This event is free of charge but registration is necessary. 
 
This event will be supported by Irish Sign Language Interpretation and the premises is universally accessible.
