Over thirty years, Gender Studies at UCD has become the most established programme of its kind in Ireland with a strong international reputation for feminist research, scholarship and engagement in public policy and activism.
Our MA and Graduate Diploma in Gender Studies, engages with current debates on gender and social justice through theoretical and policy oriented perspectives on feminism, masculinities, queer and sexualities studies.
Our programme offers students an opportunity to examine gender, race, social class, ethnicity, disability and intersectional approaches to understanding inequalities in a changing and globalising context.
