- National Women’s Council Youth Advisory Panel

Young women play a key role in the movement for women’s rights and in shaping this country’s feminist future. We invite young women from our group members to join our Youth Advisory Panel.

The NWC Youth Advisory Panel is made up of young women aged 18- 25 who are passionate about advancing women’s equality across the island. We have set up this panel to:

  • Increase the participation and representation of young women in NWC
  • Ensure the voices and experiences of young women inform our work

What will the panel do?

  • Inform NWC’s advocacy and campaigning work
  • Amplify young women’s voices in NWC and
  • Empower young women to become feminist leaders

Who are we looking for?
Young women from our member groups aged 18-25 from across the island and from intersecting identities. This group will benefit from a diversity of experiences, with young women of all backgrounds and localities represented i.e. rural and urban areas, members of the Traveller and Roma community, socioeconomic status, disabled women, diversity of ethnicity and LGBTQ+ Inclusive. We strongly encourage young women, particularly from diverse backgrounds and under-represented groups including minority ethnic groups and disabled people.
