Public Gathering to oppose cuts to Child Benefit in Budget 2010

PUBLIC GATHERING PLANNED FOR THIS EVENING (WED) OUTSIDE DAIL TO OPPOSE CUTS TO CHILD BENEFIT

The National Women's Council of Ireland (NWCI) will join PACUB, OPEN, One Family and the Children's Rights Alliance in a public gathering to oppose cuts to Child Benefit in next week's budget. The public gathering will coincide with the Labour Party's Private Member's Motion to protect Child Benefit in the budget.

If you would like to TAKE ACTION against any proposed cuts or changes to Child Benefit, join us outside Dail Eireann on Kildare Street in Dublin from 6-7pm, this evening, Wednesday 02 December 2009.
