This is an exciting time for NWCI. Change is happening for women in Ireland and we would like you to be part of that. If you have a good understanding of women’s equality, are a strong communicator, can build relationships and are interested in working with a leading national women’s organisation we want you!
We are looking for you to join the team based in Dublin. This is a 4-day post for a contract of 12 months.
Violence Against Women Officer
The Violence against women (VAW) Officer will promote NWCI’s work on Violence Against Women in all its forms in line with our Strategic Plan 2016-20. In particular, the Officer will further develop our VAW work to tackle sexual violence and harassment in third level institutions.
The Officer will build on the work of NWCI to bring about change by clearly articulating a feminist analysis of gender-based violence. The position will involve consultation with women, engagement with the public and policymakers, policy analysis and advocacy work. This role will include event management, policy development, alliance building and substantial communications work.
