Feminist Society NUIG awarded Best Civic Contribution at the BICS Awards

We are happy to announce that the Feminist Society NUIG was awarded Best Civic Contribution at the BICS Awards, a national student societies event, on Thursday 12 April. This award acknowledges the winning Society for its' outstanding civic contribution, by taking into account the impact of its educational and awareness-raising activities on not alone its members but also on the student community and wider society. This is a great honour for the Feminist Society, as we aim to
act as a platform for feminist activities both on and off NUIG campus and to educate and raise awareness about the different forms of gender inequalities that exist locally, nationally and internationally.
