Grassroots action on sexual abuse in Ireland - Conference and campaign launch

The ANU campaign for Truth, Rights and Justice is organising a conference and campaign launch to raise awareness and highlight the extent of sex abuse in Ireland. The conference will aim to expand the grassroots movement by bringing survivors and all stakeholders together to create an agenda for action and change within the justice system and service with a view to drastically reducing sex abuse in ireland and to increase measures to safeguard children.
Speakers include:
Ellen O'Malley Dunlop (CEO of Rape Crisis Centre), Fiona Doyle, Colm Dempsey, (NCPTC ‐ National Child Protection Training Centre), Cynthia Owen (author of the bestselling book 'Living with Evil'), Mary Mitchell O'Connor (Fine Gael TD), Jacqueline Healy (NWCI), the Kavanagh sisters (authors of the number one bestseller 'Click Click'), Francis Timmons (Peace Commissioner & social worker) and Kristel O'Brien (daughter of Fiona Doyle).
