Indian Women Given Training to Avoid Trafficking

In the Indian district of Sundergarh, 35 women and girls have been given training on how to avoid trafficking. The practice is believed to be especially prevalent in the tribally-dominated area.
The training initiative, organised by the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), aimed to improve the women's skills and confidence, helping them to find employment.
The three-month programme was supported by the Maa Ghar Foundation, a leading NGO in the area, and comprised both physical and classroom training.
