Introduction of a Wealth Tax

In the recent MRBI poll1 commissioned by the Community Platform, a total of 82% of the 1016 people questioned stated that they agreed that the Government should introduce a wealth tax on individuals who have net assets (including property, financial assets and luxury items) which are valued at more than one million euro and who have an annual individual income of more than a hundred thousand euro.
