Join us on Breast Health Day 15 October!

This year, Europa Donna Ireland - the Irish Breast Cancer Campaign is focusing on lifestyle choices that can influence your future breast health and help prevent breast cancer. This year we are focusing on the slogan: Make Healthy Choices - Breast Health is up to you!
We are encouraging groups around the country to get involved by organizing an event locally on Breast Health Day. This could be a walk, jog, swim or any other physical activity! We can assist with posters, leaflets and other materials.
In Dublin we are building up to Breast Health Day by giving 3 classes in resistance training in Gloucester Street Sports Centre, Gloucester St South, Dublin 2 to anyone who would like to improve their fitness level. The classes will be led by Marie Murphy, an Exercise Specialist/Nutritionist, and 1988 Irish Olympian on the following dates:
- Monday 13 September 8.00 pm
- Monday 20 September 8.00 pm
- Monday 27 September 8.00 pm
ALSO
- The Anna Livia Mile takes place on Breast Health Day, Friday 15 October in central Dublin at 1pm. The Plurabelle Paddlers, Dragon Boat Racers, will join us on the walk, which will start on the riverside at O2 and end at Grand Canal Dock, home to the Dragon Boats.
All events/classes are free; this is an awareness raising event, not a fundraiser.
