The Irish Cancer Society and the National Women's Council of Ireland are delighted to announce a seminar on the growing crisis of women and smoking.
The number of smoking related diseases in women is reaching epidemic proportions with more women now dying from lung cancer than breast cancer. More than half of disadvantaged women aged between 18 and 29 years of age smoke, which is twice as high as the rate in non-disadvantaged groups.
