Susan McKay on The History Show RTE

CEO of the NWCI, Susan McKay, will be analyzing a shocking novel based on the atrocities that occured in the closing days of the second World War on The History Show with Myles Dungan on RTE Radio 1 this Sunday at 6.05pm.

The novel, "A Woman in Berlin", is a personal journal written by a young woman who was subjected to horrendous acts of rape and violence at the hands of the Russian Forces. And she was not alone. A period of shameless abuse and gang rape ensues while the only hope the woman has is for survival alone.

The author is anonymous and there has been some controversy surrounding the authenticity of the book.
