The NWCI is currently recruiting for the following positions:

a) Project Co-ordinator - The "Y" Factor

b) Project Development Worker - The "Y" Factor

This is an innovative and ambitious new project which aims to empower young women and men to analyse and take action on gender inequalities in Irish society.
The project involves the design and delivery of participative learning modules in schools and youth groups across Ireland. It involves the development of initiatives and events including a talent quest, an ethical fashion show, an art competition and exhibition as well as other community based initiatives with a strong emphasis on social media. It involves the development of a strategy to ensure that the learning and experience from the project can influence the ways in which the education and youth work sectors in particular, deal with issues of gender inequality.

The positions we are recruiting are:

Project Co-ordinator

The person appointed will establish and co-ordinate 'The Y Factor' project.

Project Development Worker

The person appointed will support the on-going development and implementation of the Y Factor project
