Women’s group protest human rights violations in Manila

Human rights groups such as Tanggol Bayi and the Kasimbayan Women's Collective, protested at the Department of Justice in Manila yesterday, to seek justice for the victims of human rights violations.

The groups marked International Women Human Rights Defenders Day - November 29 - to demand a resolution to a case involving missing university student Sherlyn Cadapan and Karen Empeño, suspected victims of extrajudicial killings.
