What we can do: Feminist Climate Justice

As part of the European Institute for Gender Equality Forum 2024, The National Women’s Council Youth Advisory Panel (YAP) and the Feminist Communities for Climate Justice (FCCJ) project are hosting this 'What we can do: Feminist Climate Justice' online event for people to learn and be inspired to take action to achieve and demand climate justice in school, higher and further education, at local, national and EU level, in your work, online and beyond.
Tune in online here, no registration required. The event takes place at 3pm Irish time.
Attendees and panellists will learn from one another and discuss how young women have taken action on climate justice in their specific arenas and sectors, how to act for climate justice and understand the different processes to get your voice heard.
The event will be chaired by YAP member Siobhán Doyle with a contribution from Collette McEntee, Project Coordinator of FCCJ, will introduce the FCCJ project, how the climate crisis disproportionately impacts women and marginalised communities, feminist climate justice and a feminist community work approach to climate justice
and a panel discussion with
