Four Places Left on the Marks and Starts Programme

Now Recruiting for Marks and Starts
'I finally have some clarity about my possible future and know if I stay motivated I can achieve my goals'

Marks & Start is a combination of pre-employment training linked to a 2-week work probation placement with M&S. The programme gives a confidence boost, a sense of direction, purpose, and a new awareness of the help that is on offer - and, of course, a reference from one of the most respected high street names. Participants will learn what they have to offer employers; how to present themselves positively in applications and interviews; and how they can make working a practical option. The probationary placement with M&S proves you can combine being a parent with paid work. Travel costs and meals are met. The programme gives participants experience of the retail sector and equips them for not only roles in M&S but with other companies by giving them a set of marketable skills. The programme includes a FETAC level 3 accreditation.
Dates: Training 10, 11, 12 and 13th May 2011 at 10 until 1.30
Probation work placement: 16th to 27th May 2011
