An MA in Gender Studies encompasses feminism, sexualities, masculinities and women’s studies and has developed over twenty-five years to become the most established gender studies programme in Ireland with a strong international reputation for research and scholarship.

The programme offers students an opportunity to engage with a vibrant international field of study as we seek to interrogate the complexity of gender and sex roles, feminism, identities, policies, history and politics within a rapidly evolving social world. 

This MA & Graduate Diploma in Gender Studies will appeal to students interested in challenging traditional ways of thinking and knowing. It will equip those who seek to transform gendered relations and achieve social and economic justice across, local and global levels, based on gender equality and social solidarity.
