Making ‘good society’ without a community sector?

Carnegie UK Trust launched Making Good Society, the final report of the Commission of Inquiry into the Future of Civil Society in the UK and Ireland on Thursday April 23rd. The report calls for civil society involvement in the creation of a 'good society'.

But how can this be achieved without an independent, vibrant community sector?
