Highlights from PHD research titled ‘Equal but Different: Gender Discourses in the Social Relations of Irish Peacekeepers & Possibilities for Transformation’, focusing on the challenges to including women in peacekeeping. In essence, the research is providing baseline data for the Defence Forces on how women are positioned within missions.
