NWC Director Orla O'Connor speaks alongside the other leaders of the STOP67 Coalition about the next steps in the pension campaign and what a fair future for Ireland’s pensions could look like. Other speakers included Peter Kavanagh, Head of Communications and Public Affairs at Active Retirement Ireland, Corona Joyce, Senior Policy Officer at Age Action, Michael Taft, Economic Researcher for SIPTU. The event was chaired by Ethel Buckley, SIPTU's Deputy General Secretary - Organising & Membership Development. The STOP67 campaign calls for a halt to any legislation which will raise the pension age to 67 and a stakeholders forum to discuss all issues relating to retirement and pensions.
