Y Lead? Young Irish Female Leaders in Irish Society.

Y-Lead is a video project aimed at profiling young women from across Irish society who are leading their communities. The videos are designed to inspire and empower young women to be leader's themselves, as well as praising the work of inspirational young women such as: Orla Tinsley, Gillian McInerney, Peppy Nephrine, Laura Harmon, Anna Cosgrave and Vilma Barbosa.
The launch of the six videos took place on July 7th and was organised by the NWCI and the Irish Feminist Network. Senator Katherine Reilly, the youngest person ever elected to the Seanad, launched the event to a packed house. A panel discussion took place after with such distinguished speakers as Justine McCarthy, Salome Mbugua and Katherine Zappone.
