Domestic Violence Response Avert Training

Domestic Violence Response Ltd, as part of the '16 Days of Action Against Violence Against Women', is delighted to welcome the social enterprise project AVERT to Galway.
Avert, who are the training arm of Foyle Women's Aid provide high quality, specialist training which promotes a positive, preventative and proactive approach to domestic violence. They have presented training to a wide range of disciplines including teachers, PSNI, and health professionals and community-based initiatives north and south of the border.
Training on domestic violence is essential as the response women receive to disclosures of abuse can have a major impact on their safety, and on their physical and emotional well-being. Whatever your role, this training will equip you with the skills and knowledge to provide an appropriate response to women experiencing domestic violence.
