Elections 2011: Dóchas Submission to Party Manifesto

Please find attached the final version of the Dóchas submission to the political parties represented in Dáil Eireann.

We have sent tailored versions of this document to each of the Parties, with the request of incorporating the key issues in their political manifestos, as they prepare for next month's elections.

We would encourage you to make your own submissions, echoing these points. With all the political and economic change that is happening in the country, it is imperative that the traditional cross-party support for development cooperation continues in the next Dáil.

A strong lobby now, on these key issues, will lay the basis for a continued strong engagement by Ireland, and by the Houses of the Oireachtas, with issues of global justice and equality.
