In the Indian district of Sundergarh, 35 women and girls have been given training on how to avoid trafficking. The practice is believed to be especially prevalent in the tribally-dominated area.

The three-month programme was supported by the Maa Ghar Foundation, a leading NGO in the area, and comprised both physical and classroom training.
