IPRT Regional Seminars 2012: Limerick, Dublin, Cork ‘Know Your Rights - Your Rights as a Prisoner’

IPRT is delighted to announce that we are co-hosting three regional seminars in Limerick (1st May), Dublin (2nd May) and Cork (8th May) focusing on: prisoner rights; the rights and needs of children of imprisoned parents; and information for families about deaths in prison custody will also be presented and discussed. Each seminar will include the local launch of the Know Your Rights - Your Rights as a Prisoner booklet, produced jointly by IPRT and ICCL.

These seminars are open to community organisations and service providers working with prisoners or with families and communities affected by imprisonment; the seminars will also provide a forum for the experiences of those affected by imprisonment.

Full details on each of the seminars is included below. To register for any of the three seminars, please contact Mary Gaffney at tel: 01-8741400 or e-mail info@iprt.ie
