Lessons from America - Healthcare Reform

Amnesty International Ireland is hosting a lecture by Dr Ezekiel Emanuel entitled "Lessons from America - Healthcare Reform."
Dr Emanuel is Special Advisor for Health Policy to the Director of the Office of Management and Budget, under the administration of President Obama. He was one of the key individuals behind the drafting and passing of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, the landmark health reform legislation in the US. He is currently on leave from his post as the Chair of the Clinical Centre Department of Bioethics at the US National Institutes of Health.
The lecture will take place on Saturday, 2nd April 2011 from 3pm to 4.30pm in the School of Nursing and Midwifery, Trinity College Dublin, 24 D'Olier Street, Dublin 2.
