Member consultation: Broadcasting Authority of Ireland (BAI)

The BAI have launched a public consultation on the issue of fairness, accuracy and accountability in news and current affairs broadcasting. The aim is for the BAI to produce a new code for radio and TV stations to apply. The NWCI - along with other organisations - will submit a short paper focused on the issue of women's exclusion from the broadcast media. Member organisations who are interested in the issue of media - local or national - and would like to provide inputs, insights or information should email Eoin by Wednesday the 29th of February. Contributions can be sent via email to eoinm@nwci.ie .
