Member’s Meeeting: The X Case: 20 Years of Inaction

The NWCI in association with the Irish Family Planning Association will be holding a members meeting The X Case: 20 Years of Inaction on Wednesday 29th of February from 10.30am to 3.30pm in our new offices in Parnell Square.

The members meeting will mark the 20th anniversary of the Supreme Court judgement in the X case. It will highlight the lack of action by various governments on this important judgement to date and identify what needs to be done to progress the right to a safe and legal abortion in Ireland.

This is a highly important issue that needs further analysis and discussion.

Speakers include Senator Ivana Bacik, Niall Behan, CEO Irish Family Planning Association and Linda Kelly from Cork Feminista. More information will follow soon but places are limited so book a place now to avoid disappointment.
