NWC addresses the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Disability Matters

To celebrate International Women’s Day and disabled women, Catherine Lane of the National Women’s Council and Maureen McGovern and Selina Bonnie representing NWC's disabled womens group and our group member Independent Living Movement Ireland addressed the committee. Selina and Maureen highlighted issues including violence against women, particiaption of disabled women in community, public and poltiical life and reproductive justice and rights for all disabled women.
