Reaction to France’s Burqa Ban

France's controversial ban on certain kinds of Muslim veils took effect on Monday, 11th April, 2011.
Consequently, French police arrested two women outside Notre Dame just hours after. Police claimed the women were arrested for taking part in an unauthorized protest.
