RTE TV DOCUMENTARY SEEKS WOMEN WORKING OVER 65years
Published: Thursday, July 08, 2010
I work with RTÉ Televisions' Documentary Unit and am researching a programme which I'm hoping you might be able to help me with. The documentary will follow the lives of 4-5 dynamic, interesting, energetic, good natured men and women who are still working full time (or part time) and are over the standard retirement age of 65.
We have had a great response but are still particularly interested in talking to women over 65 who are working and I'm hoping that that might apply to some of your members. I feel we must reflect how important the female contribution has been particularly where women are both working and raising a family .
We'd like to include a variety of professions/industries/roles in which these people are employed or self-employed but if possible the more diverse the better. The work should be paid work and if possible not office based, however, any suggestions are gratefully accepted.
Although the programme is just at the research stage, we look forward to making contact with people who fit the above description.
Thanks, Amanda
