Tackling the Shadow Employer

The Community Sector Employer's Forum (CSEF) wants to hear the views of community organisations and is inviting managers and board members to participate in consultation groups. The consultation is part of a project which aims to develop proposed rules of engagement between statutory funders and community sector employers, including boundaries, rights and responsibilities.

The project has been established in response to growing evidence of inappropriate interventions by funders in the operation of community organisations and the consultation groups will provide an opportunity for community sector employers to discuss what should be in the rules of engagement.

Consultation groups will be held in different parts of the country and online. If you are interested in participating please contact Mary Higgins at: higginsmc@eircom.net before Monday 1st November. Mary Higgins has been taken on by CSEF to facilitate the consultation process.
