Dear Deputy,
I am contacting you in relation to the national initiative Turn Off the Red Light: End Prostitution in Ireland. This campaign is run by a wide range of civil society organizations, which is aimed at bringing an end to sex trafficking and prostitution in Ireland.
I fully support this campaign and I hope that the new Daíl will make this issue a priority by introducing legislation to end the exploitation of women, men and children in the sex industry in Ireland.
The Turn Off the Red Light Campaign is holding a briefing for politicians on Wednesday, the 4th of May 2011, in Buswells Hotel. You are welcome to drop in at any time on that day between 9.30am and 5pm.
I urge you to attend this important briefing.
Is mise le meas,
