We are proud to announce, this Art Exhibition is being opened by Sharon Lawless of Adoption Stories.
The Textile art of Hannah Martin with vocal contributions from Terri Harrison founder of Forgotten Mothers presents a unique perspective of how the Arts can enlighten so many from a dark recess of a history hidden and forgotten. This exhibition is so worth seeing, so worthy of being acknowledged. Not only does it tell the story of the fate of many young Irish Females, but also it portrays a society that knew no better. In understanding past mistakes, we can use the learning curves to shape out our future.
Inspire Gallery is a very easy place to access and there is free car parking. It is just a few minutes walk from Bus Aras the ;Luas, Connolly station etc.

About the artist Hannah Martin
Hannah Martin is a second year student in the National College of Art and Design in Dublin. She is studying Textile Art and Artefact and Education, with aspirations to become a Secondary School Teacher.
Hannah’s work has always focused on raising awareness about issues that are not so easily discussed, and aims to generate a conversation about these concerns and topics through the use of art.
She has previously exhibited in the Basement Gallery in Dundalk and in Carrickmacross Workhouse, and is set to exhibit in Carrickmacross Arts Festival- Ireland’s biggest small festival.
Hannah’s work mainly focuses on drawing techniques, which she expresses through the use of embroidery and sketching. Her most recent body of work consists of a variety of media; focusing on portraits of women and children.
