Join The Library of Trinity College Dublin to celebrate the lives and contributions of Irish artists and all the incredible women missing from Wikipedia!
TCD Library’s Teaching and Research Support team will run a Wikipedia edit-a-thon to improve the quality of articles about notable women artists. There will be a particular focus on Trinity’s rich art and research collections.
Join the millions of lecturers and students worldwide who use Wikipedia in their everyday teaching and learning. Be part of the Art and Feminism campaign to improve the coverage of women and the arts in Wikipedia.
No prior knowledge is required. You’ll learn how to edit Wikipedia and participate in an open knowledge community. You will be encouraged to improve articles for these amazing women represented in TCD Library Collections. You will also be supported to create articles of your choice related to notable women missing from Wikipedia.=

How do I prepare?
- Sign up for the event on Eventbrite
- Create a Wikipedia account
- Bring a laptop (wi-fi will be provided) or use one of our computers
- Learn how to edit via this Wiki Basics tutorial
