INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY 8TH OF MARCH 2018

• Organised by the Women’s Black & Minority Ethnic Support Group

Venue: Donegal Women’s Centre, Port Road, Letterkenny

Guest Speaker: Dr Angela Byrne, Local Historian who will give an input on International Women’s Day and Women’s Suffrage.

12.30 p.m.-1.00 p.m. – Dr Angela Byrne

1.00 p.m.- Input from women from the floor highlighting important dates from women in their country.

1.20 p.m. – Launch of the Women’s Black & Minority Ethnic Support Group 1.30 p.m.- Scars to Your Beautiful (video)

1.30 p.m.-2.30 p.m. – Light lunch, served in the Creativity Room

Women invited to wear their traditional dress (optional) NCCWN-Donegal Women’s Network in collaboration with Donegal Women’s Centre and the Donegal Intercultural Platform have come together to establish a Women’s Black & Minority Ethnic Support Group in Letterkenny.
