The Women’s Aid 16 Days of Action Blog is now live

The Women's Aid Blog for the 16 Days of Action campaign went live on 1 October 2012.  Check in regularly for all your 16 Days of Action news, resources, features, events and updates on the 'One in Five Women' National Balloon Action.

The 'One in Five Women' National Balloon Action in solidarity with women and children affected by domestic violence will be launched on the eve of the campaign on Thursday, 22 November 2012 at 11am.  Women's Aid welcomes groups and individuals to join the action in your own communities then or at any time during the 16 Days campaign. 

If you wish to take part in the National Balloon Action or are planning another 16 Days event of your own please email us at 16days@womensaid.ie and we will add it to the list of events happening around Ireland during the campaign.

The Women's Aid One in Five Women campaign as part of the 16 Days of Action runs from 25 November to 10 December 2012 and raises awareness of violence against women locally, nationally and internationally.
