Charter of Zero Tolerance on Violence against Women available to download

NWCI secured funding from The Women’s Fund of the Community Foundation of Ireland to draw up a Charter of Zero Tolerance on Violence against Women to be used by various organisations in order to show their commitment to tackling all forms of violence against women in Ireland. This is now available for download here. This will be disseminated in a wide range of settings, including universities, schools, trade unions, public bodies and other large organisations, committing that organisation or body to a set of principles that reject all forms of violence against women. It aims to enhance public awareness of the causes and repercussions of the issue and contribute to a shift in culture in Irish society, acknowledging that violence against women is unacceptable.
