Statement: Chairperson of the National Women’s Council of Ireland, Clare Treacy

The Board of the National Women's Council of Ireland is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Orla O'Connor as Acting Chief Executive of the NWCI with immediate effect.

Ms. O'Connor is currently Head of Policy at the NWCI and has held this senior position for the past 7 years.

The Board is confident Orla's experience and commitment will ensure the organization continues to drive positive change in the area of women's rights and equality.
